The NORRISTOWN CRUSH will be the only official qualifier in Pennsylvania for the 2009 US Open of Beach Volleyball. This year the winner of the Men’s Pro division will receive free entry into the US Open being held September 25-27, 2009 in famed Manhattan Beach, CA. New sponsor Spalding will be providing the tournament ball for this year's Crush. The Spalding King of the Beach (KOB) ball will be used in all divisions. The Crush has also partnered with KOG Volleyball out of Baltimore, MD and the Susquehanna Smash out of Lititz, PA to form a three event series called the 2009 VolleyBrawl Tour. Overall winners in each division will win a prize package estimated at over $200 in value with Men’s Pro receiving a free entry into the US Open.

Many changes have occurred for 2009 including a new location, new date, and new divisions. The Crush will now be held at Limerick Community Park in Limerick, PA on July 25-26, 2009. Due to many requests Men’s AA, Women’s AA, and Co-ED Pro/AA will be added. The popular Quads division will now allow a fifth member on each team at no additional cost.

The Norristown Crush is also joining forces with Excellence Training Camps (ETC) out of Coatesville to present the 1st Annual ETC/CRUSH Grass Volleyball Tournament. This new event will be held on May 30-31, 2009 at Limerick Community Park. Click here for details...

The Crush is currently in negotiations with a volleyball group and although unable to provide any details at this time, expects to make the biggest announcement in the history of Pennsylvania outdoor volleyball by late summer.

Welcome to the 2nd  Annual NORRISTOWN CRUSH Volleyball Tournament. The NORRISTOWN CRUSH is a grass volleyball tournament featuring Men’s, Women’s, and Junior doubles on Saturday. Sunday play will include the playoffs for Men’s Pro,  Co-Ed doubles, Quads, and Junior Girls Quads. Many thanks to the players, families, and fans who made our initial event a spectacular success.
